Eva Batres - Registered Veterinary Technician

Eva was born and raised in Miami, FL and moved to Utah six years ago.

She is a dedicated vet tech with over 10 years of experience in veterinary medicine and proudly passed her Veterinary Technician National Examination on her first attempt. She has worked with a wide variety of animals, including reptiles, exotics, pocket pets, avians, dogs, and cats. She is passionate about being a voice and advocate for all animals and about providing compassionate, attentive care to all of her patients.

Her greatest accomplishment is marrying her husband, Josh. Together they love traveling and have visited several countries, explored national parks, and traveled through half the United States, with plans to eventually visit all 50 states and every U.S. national park. They still have a long bucket list of destinations and look forward to all the adventures ahead. They are also big hockey fans and especially love cheering for the Florida Panthers, with the Utah Mammoth as a close second.

At home, life happily revolves around their pit bull, Bruce (named after the shark from Finding Nemo) who is the sunshine and joy of their home.

Outside of work, Eva enjoys caring for her many plants, trying out new hobbies, and listening to true crime or spooky story podcasts. Her favorite days are spent relaxing with Josh and Bruce while rewatching the extended editions of The Lord of the Rings, reading fantasy books, rewatching The Office, yelling at the TV during hockey games to “just shoot the puck!”, or spending time in the mountains with her little family surrounded by nature.
